We’re sold the false idea that we can have it all, but turns out you can't have it all at the same time. So what do you want, right now? Each week I’ll ask a woman her top 10.
Lee is a Northern Californian who loves spending time in Europe. She is a 45 year old lawyer, business owner, mother of two kids and a cat, skier, tennis player who sometimes plays pickleball, and lover of travel.
10 things Lee wants:
To not be watching my best friend pass away after a long battle with cancer.
To teach my kids to be engaged in the world with compassion and understanding and yet to not make them afraid of it.
To better my tennis and pickleball games (I love that you can’t multitask on the court).
To enjoy endless cups of coffee without sacrificing peaceful sleep.
To continue to build my business and expand its reach - stretching my skills and making me learn new things.
To not clean up cat puke on a regular basis.
To have alone time with my husband who I love more now than I did 17 years ago when we fell in love.
To have more dinner parties where my home is filled with laughter.
For my children’s grandparents to continue to enjoy their childhoods.
To take care of my one and only body so I can get old and soak up as much time as I can with those I love (while still eating decadent and delicious things!).
So many of these things are on my list!
